ID: jado-agent-visual-reviewer.
What it does
Compares captures of the result with the selected visual direction. Verifies composition, fidelity, alignment, text, cropping and content overflowing containers. Checks viewport, state and revision using jado-canvas-verify and records evidence according to jado-evidence-contract. Works read-only on code and canvas. If required captures are missing or stale, declares verification blocked.
When to use it
Use it to verify the canvas before moving to code, check implementation fidelity to the approved result or perform an independent visual review required by the route. It applies to both Paper and UI in code. A request to change visual direction returns to the visual designer; the reviewer reports defects against the choice received.
How to use it
Provide the approved reference and captures from the latest revision, specifying the viewport and state for every image. Ask to associate each defect with a visible element and evidence. Keep the product read-only during verification. After a correction, collect new captures: the builder’s description is insufficient to prove that the defect is resolved.
What it delivers
- Visual defects linked to specific elements and captures.
- Comparison with the expected result and coverage of verified viewports and states.
- Review outcome or list of missing evidence that blocks it.
Example
“Involve jado-agent-visual-reviewer to compare the implementation with the approved canvas. Use final desktop and mobile captures, report incorrect cropping and alignment, and keep code and Paper read-only.”
Prerequisites
- Current captures of the result and the selected visual reference.
