ID: ask-jado.
What it does
For user questions, consults the full JADO catalog and, when needed, workflow packets: compares relevant capabilities and proposes the next step with reasons, links, the expected outcome and any availability limitations. For an agent’s question, starts from the current assignment and expands the search only if needed. Preserves existing decisions and distinguishes procedures, profiles and execution.
When to use it
Use it at any stage to understand what to do, compare skills or workflows, choose an implementer or resume from the current point. The model also consults it when a missing decision changes the work. Consultation returns guidance without starting agents or modifying the product; execution remains with jado-flow within the authorization received.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /ask-jado in Claude Code or $ask-jado in Codex. Describe the situation or ask for an explanation of a JADO capability. Specify decisions to preserve or reconsider. Ask for a recommendation, alternatives or the next step: ask-jado searches the catalog without requiring you to know skill names.
What it delivers
- Reasoned recommendation with instruction links
- Workflow and implementer when relevant, expected outcome and prerequisites
- Next step or missing decision in the current assignment
Example
We have approved the moodboard and need to choose fonts. Use ask-jado to recommend a skill, explain who can apply it and indicate whether this activity is enough or a workflow is needed.
Prerequisites
- Requires access to the JADO folder and project materials to recognize choices already settled.
