ID: copywriting.
What it does
Reads the product marketing context and clarifies the page, audience, offer, traffic source and primary action. Builds the message sequence, from headline to evidence and objections, connecting features to reader benefits. Delivers section-by-section copy, reasons and alternatives for headlines and calls to action. Uses only genuinely available data and testimonials.
When to use it
Use it for homepages, landing pages, pricing pages, feature pages or product presentations. It fits defining or rewriting a page message; targeted review of an already sound draft can use copy-editing.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /copywriting in Claude Code or $copywriting in Codex. Provide the audience, problem, product, differences from alternatives and evidence. State the action the page should encourage. If .agents/product-marketing.md exists, use it as context and clarify only the gaps for this page.
What it delivers
- Complete copy for the page sections
- Headline and CTA alternatives
- Reasons for choices and metadata when requested
Example
Write the landing page for our planning tool for freelance designers. Goal: create the first project. Use the benefits and evidence in the marketing document.
