ID: html-show.
What it does
Chooses between a feature summary, competitive research, current-state audit and concept explanation. Reads sources, selects the relevant template and prepares a single HTML file with embedded CSS and JavaScript. Can use before/after comparisons, filters, galleries and image zoom when they clarify the content. Verifies navigation, images and readability on desktop, intermediate widths and mobile.
When to use it
Use it to present research, redesign results or a concept in a navigable page that opens locally. It is not a slide deck and does not replace canonical operational documentation.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /html-show in Claude Code or $html-show in Codex. Provide materials, audience and the decision to discuss. Specify the presentation type and save path if already decided. Include sources and before/after images; request a page with real content and controls that have a useful effect.
What it delivers
- Standalone HTML file
- Linked sources and assets
- Verification of the requested controls and layouts
Example
Prepare an HTML page comparing the three onboarding patterns from the research, with screenshots, sources and selection criteria.
