ID: avoid-ai-writing.
What it does
Reads the text and looks for filler, unsupported emphasis, repeated formulas and conversational residue. Can report problems only, propose a rewrite or edit a prose file. Assesses each finding in context, protects quotations and technical content and limits revision to two editorial passes. Matches punctuation in edited passages to the original.
When to use it
Use it for text that sounds generic, pompous or repetitive when the underlying content is already available. Applies editorial judgment to phrasing; detector scores do not establish who wrote the text.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /avoid-ai-writing in Claude Code or $avoid-ai-writing in Codex. Provide the text or file, reader, tone and parts to preserve. Specify whether you want findings only or a revision. Request an account of changes, checks performed and any limitations; do not use a score as proof of authorship.
What it delivers
- Revised text or findings, depending on the mode
- Reasons for changes
- Preservation checks and verification limitations
Example
Revise this chapter for clarity: remove generic formulas and repetition while preserving decisions, skill names and links.
