ID: web-design-guidelines.
What it does
Fetches the current guidelines from the Vercel source, reads the specified files and applies the received rules. Delivers findings with file and line references in the format required by the source. The catalog describes the procedure, while rules are reread for each review to avoid an outdated copy.
When to use it
Use it for a targeted check of components or pages against these guidelines. A file scope is required: a generic request without a target first requires choosing what to check. Code verification does not imply that the entire experience was tested in the browser.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /web-design-guidelines in Claude Code or $web-design-guidelines in Codex. Specify files or file patterns and the check objective. Request guideline retrieval before review and findings with locations. Any correction and its verification must be included in the assignment.
What it delivers
- Findings located in the code
- Rules applied from the current source
- Scope actually examined
Example
Check the checkout form components against the current Web Interface Guidelines and return findings with file and line references.
Prerequisites
- Requires access to https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vercel-labs/web-interface-guidelines/main/command.md to retrieve the rules before review.
