ID: improve-animations.
What it does
Maps libraries, tokens, components and interaction frequency. Assesses purpose, curves, duration, origin, interruptions, performance, accessibility and consistency. Confirms findings against the code and ranks them by impact relative to effort. For selected issues, prepares plans with files, excerpts, values and checks sufficient for a separate implementer. The audit and planning phase does not modify product code.
When to use it
Use it to survey motion in a feature or app and establish a sequence of changes. For a single diff, use review-animations; to find where to add motion, use find-animation-opportunities. execute mode is a separate assignment to apply a plan.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /improve-animations in Claude Code or $improve-animations in Codex. Provide the area, symptoms and depth: quick, standard or deep. Specify whether you want an audit or a plan for an already selected defect. In guided mode, choose which findings become plans; these are saved in the folder specified by the skill.
What it delivers
- Audit with evidence and priorities
- Self-contained plans for selected findings
- Plan index with order and dependencies
Example
Examine motion in menus, dialogs and toasts. Produce a prioritized audit and plans for the two issues I select, without modifying components.
