ID: jado-canvas-layout.
What it does
Reads the assigned document and nodes and opens an initial capture. Defines axis, spacing, padding, alignment, growth and limits before fixing coordinates. Uses Flex in groups when supported by the available tools and explains overlays or other absolute positioning. Preserves relevant content and components and proceeds to verification after the final edit.
When to use it
Use it to build or reorganize a layout in the Paper canvas. It helps when groups and dimensions must adapt to real text. Only one writer works on a shared document during the phase.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /jado-canvas-layout in Claude Code or $jado-canvas-layout in Codex. Specify the document, nodes and expected result. Provide content and constraints, including long text. For a broad transformation, use a copy or version if available; apply only properties actually exposed by the provider.
What it delivers
- Hierarchy and layout of the assigned nodes
- Preserved content
- Result ready for jado-canvas-verify
Example
In the assigned Paper document, reorganize the filter section using containers and Flex where available. Preserve the text and verify the result after the final edit.
Prerequisites
- Requires authorized access to the Paper document and tools exposing the necessary properties.
