ID: jado-researcher.
What it does
Performs documentary research in the current context: question, available sources, gaps, targeted research and synthesis. Separates observations, hypotheses and proposals; user studies require a dedicated assignment and protocol.
When to use it
Use it in the researcher role when a choice depends on information that is not yet available or organized. An interface inspection is not a user test; the handoff must preserve this distinction.
How to use it
Ask for it by name, or invoke it with /jado-researcher in Claude Code or $jado-researcher in Codex. Provide the question, context, sources, gaps and budget. Ordinary research does not initiate delegation. The external research skill remains available for a separate assignment compatible with its protocol.
What it delivers
- Assigned research dossier
- Sources and limitations for claims
- Handoff with coverage and open questions
Example
Gather evidence about our onboarding problems from the assigned materials. Write the dossier, distinguish observations from hypotheses and keep the product read-only.
